I Am a Jedi

I am a Jedi, keeper of the peace and mediator.
I wonder about the hidden aspects of the Force.
I hear the politicians row around me.
I see the Galaxy as it is, not as it should be.
I want the peace the Galaxy deserves.
I am a Jedi, keeper of the peace and mediator.

I pretend not to hear the call of the Dark Side.
I feel the power it offers.
I touch that power and recoil.
I worry about what would happen should I embrace it.
I cry at the loss of those that do.
I am a Jedi, keeper of the peace and mediator.

I understand little about the world around me.
I say Good will always triumph.
I dream of a Galaxy at peace.
I try to help that dream become a reality.
I hope that dream comes true.
I am a Jedi, keeper of the peace and mediator.
