I Am,

I was sexually abused as a child, raped molested, and threaten. I am not my abuse, am not the shame that was displaced on to me. I am a survivor and I am a champion. I am two tigers, I am freedom. I am love, beauty and joy. I am free of my pain but not my nightmares. I am a fighter, and my own hero. I have been to hell, and I dream of heaven. I am hope in my dreams and my future, I am not afraid to speak out. This is a poem about who I am, what has happen to me, this is not for me, but for those who are fearful to speak out- William P. Key
