I Am!

I am the sun, rain, moon and stars. 

I am the tree that has lived an untold number of years, 

with awareness beyond that of mankind. 

I am the smile on a child's face innocent and bright. 

I am the old man that has lived for 90 years and shed 90 tears. 

I am that woman or man that clutches their child; 

I am the summer’s rain and winter’s snow falling ever so lightly. 

I am that eagle that soars above looking for prey. 

I am that mother who laments’ because she can’t feed her child 

Or the father who just lost his job. 

I am the animal on the street put out of his home. 

I am the silent fears and tears of time. 

I am all of you...and any of you!!!
