I Am
His grace brings sunlight into my spirit
Shining through me, sensitivity
Covering my worries and insecurities
With waves of accepting joy and peace
His mercy whispers softly through me
Heartfelt wonders embracing me
Speaking of love so full and alive
That I feel the flames of purity inside
His truth reveals traces of salvation
Sent to include me in a heavenly destination
Where I will be with the One I hold dearly
This Jesus who has healed and forgiven me
His compassion flows through my heart
Embracing my deepest plans and thoughts
With a welcoming of all that I am or want
Filling this heart with confidence and hope
His excitement encourages me to give
Of all that I have and everything within
Through the hardest times that come to me
And when happiness profound assures me
His acceptance leads me to forget my sin
Remembering that He loves me more than then
And He forgives me with overwhelming strength
That overcomes my weakness and uncertainty
His revelation assures me that the time will come
When everything I’ve hoped and all that I’ve done
Will be answered with approving rewards that I can
Give back to Him with all glory and praise to the I AM
