I Already Voted, Now Leave Me Alone

I already voted now leave me alone Stop with the messages To my telephone Gather your signs stabbed in every one’s yard Give me a break it can not be that hard I’m fully aware of all of your views I see them each day when reading the news Quit all the polling who cares who I’m for I know he hates her but she hates him more So end these commercials disrupting my show I made up my mind such a long time ago All of this banter I can not condone I already voted now leave me alone

I am so so so glad I don't have to vote those calls must be infuriating - thankfully this type of campaigning doesn't take place on our little Island - we only had our election about 6 weeks ago:-) hugs jan xx

Oh my word Chris! I can identify with this and the calls to my phone have been driving me crazy as well. But, I identify with the entire poem. Great one!

Thanks Heidi, my phone dinged a while ago this afternoon and when I looked it was another message from a candidate and no fooling, I stared at my phone and said, "I already voted, now leave me alone" And then something in my head went ding and I wrote this. I appreciate you my sweet friend.
