I Accidentally Let One Loose

I ACCIDENTALLY LET ONE LOOSE

I accidentally let one loose
While shopping at the mall
It had people screaming
And backed against the wall

One by one would try to leave
But there was no getting away
They were all trapped by it 
 What more can I say

I couldn't deny it was my fault
I couldn't help the situation
But that didn't help these people
They were there for the duration

I wished I hadn't done it
The reaction was quite extreme
It was just a quirk of nature
I wished it were a dream

But once you accidentally let one loose
They are difficult to get back
But I finally caught my pet skunk
And put him back in the sack
