Hush, Hush
Settle next to the kettle
A memory ordained in blood
And yesterday's flood
Testing a city's mettle
Hush, hush
The demon draws near
Larger by shadow
Impish in person
With a wolfish grin
Another tragedy struck
Beneath a blood moon
We awaited salvation
But were awarded damnation
All too very soon
Hush, hush
The demon draws near
Sniffing for our fear
Dripping with our blood
With hungry eyes
Another tragedy struck
Today is filled with life
Tomorrow a city filled with graves
So many valiant braves
Lost to the strife
Hush, hush
The silence falls over civilization
The streets echo in emptiness
The demon killed us all
With an insatiable appetite
The final tragedy struck
