outside the window
male goldfinch eats fennel seeds....
drinks birdbath water

think~ husband likes coffeemate
we're out, jot on grocery list

I love fennel. I use it with roast potatoes. A lovely poem.

Victor, It taste very similar to licorice or French Tarragon to me. It is not my favorite, but I could eat it. I bought it just to see what it would do in my herb garden, and it is very prolific and somewhat invasive. I have enjoyed watching grow, bloom and draw birds and butterflies when it is in bloom.
