Hunting the Spring

Leaving in the morning
Driving to the south
Hope to find nice weather
Tired of staying in the house

The sun is shining somewhere
We will drive until we find
The days so hot and sunny
Enough to clear the mind

The winter has left us restless
Green trees are what we seek
Flowers and song birds everywhere
The scenery is again unique

Your poem is a good description of what to expect concerning spring weather.
