Hungry Eyes

One touch leaves me breathless,
like the wind
teasing a tiny butterfly,
but hungry eyes caress
silky skin,
and my lips find your lullaby


Upon the melody,
of your kiss
the nude gem of your paradise,
while love takes you softly
to such bliss,
I seem to get lost in your sighs


One look leaves me speechless,
like music
playing with no words to dance to,
but then you go undress
the magic,
with hungry eyes of tender blue

Form of Poetry~ Tri-fall
Consists three 6-line stanzas,
for a total of 18 lines. The rhyme scheme is a,b,c,a,b,c
and meter for each stanza is as follows: 6/3/8, 6/3/8.

David Smith May 31, 2022 at 9:16 PM Wish more were able to feel your passion for the real thing. Too many have let hate take its place and engaging in not nice activities. Too many eyes show total lack of empathy. 68 years above ground suggest to me that true evil exists in some hearts but thankfully not in most yet. Poems like this I am sure can keep it that way.
