Humans'

I've posted many poems on this site,
Many to try and relay something, that's right.
Well we are nation that has been blessed,
But, with our turning our back on God's law, we are in a mess.

Our country, not many years ago,
Was a sign to humanity, strength and courage, you know'
I long for the culture of my youth, when we trusted in God.
Abundance, we had, blessed with our Saviors blessed nod.

We stood tall in all the world, for freedom,
A place one could dream of coming too, for all men.
What about our true being, the race, human, not any nation?
No one standing above or below, equal. our Lord's true creation.

We live and come from the same creator,
We are no worse or better, nor are we any greater.
We were created by God, as the Human race,
No hatred, prejudices, should even enter this place.

What matters if we don't believe like one another?
We are all humans, made to be sisters and brothers.
Surely God, Our Father, wants all of us to be happy,
Not get angry, mad, start wars, kill, and go off being snappy.

We must as humans being think of our God and abide by His laws'
To take prayers out of schools and replace gay teachings, totally sticks in my craw.
But, it's not for me to judge our fellow humans, and it's hard,
We as Christians, must trust in our Father, He's playing all the cards.

We should be teaching God's word to our children while we have a chance too,
Shortly He'll return and I really believe that He will be wrathful.
Ignoring what our founding fathers believed in.
Is the crime here and totally a sin.

Our Savior, Our Lord is coming soon,
And if we don't change our ways? Doom'
Earthly things, meaningless things, blindness,
Our Lord will show puny humans, no mercy or kindness.

We all have a chance to turn from the evils of this world,
If we remember that we are all humans, straight from our birth.
So when you have murder, rape, drugs, and the terror,
Thinking it's all alright, to hurt humans, my friends, your in error.

Our Savior is coming to make things all right,
It won't even be much of a fight.
All the weaponry, computers, bombs and rockets, will be no match,
When our Savior returns, for His due, and His catch.

So for a country that was blessed by our Lord,
To ignore it, forgetting all our human brothers and sisters, and His word.
If we want our country to have pride, a beacon, we have to return,
To be kind, giving, a strength to the world, or we will surely get burned.

Technology is no match for God's power, Robert. I think the escalation in natural disasters shows that Judgment Day may soon come. Your inspiring poem makes the reader want to live a better life -- even to try and bring about world peace. Thank you for your kind comments, Robert. I do pray and will try to stay optimistic. Your support is greatly appreciated. Love, Carolyn
