Humanity Versus God

HUMANITY VERSUS GOD

Like a loving parent
God corrects us,
planting a flower for us
in the dust.
We pull it up.
He puts it back.
Like spoiled children,
we hit and attack.
In temper tantrums
we insist
the world is ours.
But it is His.
