Humanity Reaps Our Own

Another day dawns for the innocent,
woe to the ones who tremor in the sun
Whose deeds are forgotten
time goes on

Leaving despair, with which you must bare
Burdens greater than sin can stand for
Greater than the ones we believed we cared for
Greater than the rights that we must share,

for though Jesus said to have spared man's soul
Man said to have reaped what another sowed

To have burnt his brother and dug a hole
Where lives taken, are to be sowed
Humanity now reaps our own.
