Humanity
Having the ability to reason as we manipulate our environment,
Understanding right from wrong, at least to some degree, and
Making decisions that affect others' lives for good or for worse
Are the largest part of what separates man from beast.
No other being on this earth
Is as progressive. . . nor as destructive to the planet,
Yet that which defines also sadly seems to doom us.
