Humanity

As I look across this land I really try to understand Why people come to be Such a self destructing society Letting hatred rule their hearts Unsympathetic from the start Casting down a negative flow For our children as they grow Feeding into the flame This shame is all of ours to blame We sit there with no remorse As we travel down this course Is this really now our human race We should hang our heads in disgrace Just going with the ebb and flow We put on airs with a false and empty show I hope that people will eventually realize That we are bringing about our own demise
