Human In the Race
Could you know what I am thinking
Or does your search light fail to find
Can you read the soul I have inside
From looking at my eyes
Though you have felt what I was feeling
I swear, I felt it differently
And everything we are
From top to bottom is unique
Remember that our empathy
Is just a splash amidst the waves
I couldn't fit inside your thoughts
If I was the least of things God made
Remember our psychology
Comes from the human brain
We only draw these pictures of ourselves
On the confines of a page
I believe individuality
Lives outside of time and space
A soul inside a human
And a human in the race
