Hullabaloo about sin
To our soul's chagrin,
Adam and Eve's sin,
as man's fall from grace,
shrouds us in disgrace.
Biblical concept,
translation inept,
causes us to wilt
and shrivel in guilt.
Oh dear hearts, know this,
soul's love, light and bliss.
We're free like a bird,
forged from God's first Word.
Eristics dispute,
pastors substitute,
what's meant to be said ~
let's be by love led.
All that's happened is,
we've made life a quiz,
head and heart discord,
distanced from The Lord.
Fine! We lost our way,
desires made us sway
but in time we learnt
and ego chaff burnt.
There's no need to fear,
for God is so near,
in-dwelling our form,
felt as a bliss swarm.
We forgive our child,
tempestuous, wild,
so God does likewise,
for He's far more wise.
We're asked to align
with love throbs divine.
Let's do so in play,
through each night and day.
Forget about sin.
Go in now, go in
and reclaim the light,
shining within bright!
