Mr Google suggests that every language in the world has the word 'Huh'

I asked him again and he said ALMOST every language...

That's good enough for me.

Some say zed and some say zee Some say yes and some says oui Some say moi and some say me But the whole darned world says huh Some say poo and some say poop Some say broth and some say soup Some say gravy some say jus But the whole darned world says huh Some say film and some say movie Some say fab and some say groovy Some say dance and some say boogie But the whole darned world says huh Some say dollar, some say buck Some say lorry, some say truck Some say loser, some say schmuck But the whole darned world says huh Some say cram and some say swat Some say sexy, some say hot Some say eh? and some say what? But the whole darned world says huh

I love how you unraveled the mysterious differences behind so many words and expressions and then ended with 'huh.' This is humorous but also creative. A fun read...I guess it was probably a fun write as well. Nice to have one of your poems to read...have a great evening, Sara

Strangely, I started this before I discovered that ‘Huh’ is a universal term. Good job, because without that fact… I would have had nothing to hold it all together. Glad you enjoyed, Sara. Hopefully, with a stupidly massive poem now finished (save for editing) I can get my brain into gear and write more. Glad you enjoyed. Terry

That’s weird… I almost guessed that you must be in the U.K. Welcome to our Isle… steer clear of that Marmite won’t you. Sorry our UK weather is so unobliging right now; it’s often a helluva lot better… honest. What parts are you visiting? I kinda bet it will be wet … c’est la vie. Terry

Thanks, Deb. I finally finished that mega poem I mentioned. 5000 words… not sure I can lumber Soup with that one… I shall give it some thought ;-) Anyway, before I switch into edit mode I thought I’d scribble something down. This was it. Is your clock wrong? Isn’t it midday where you are? Terry x
