Hugs
There's nothing like a warm embrace
To make you smile and feel at peace
It lifts your spirit and gives you hope
When you feel alone, it helps you cope
A hug can say so many things
It can make you soar and give you wings
It can say 'I love you', 'you're my friend'
'I'm here for you until the end'
Arms to hold you when you cry
Can mend the hurt and dry your eye
It can build a bridge when wrongs are done
And bring new joys with the rising sun
So hug your loved ones close today
A single word, no need to say
They will be reminded of your love
As you thank the Father up above
