Hug Day! 12-02-26
There's blood in my hands,
not in violence or ruin
but rather my soul in motion
the proof that I'm here for you.
I can feel yours too,
separated by a thin veil
of skin and breath and fragile warmth;
underneath where the rushing, blushing rivers of blood,
like tiny lightning bolts yearn to leap between us.
I feel the way your body breathes,
fiery warmth that detonates from that steadfast beating core,
fizzles out into the fingertips that are so uniquely yours
so please, come here for a hug.
