How You Know It's Over
How you know it's over
You spend most
Of your time
Dreaming of how
To get away from
The niceties of normal.
How not to shock
Them
When you cut
Thru
Your throat
Or run
Until you hear the snap
Of the noose of the rope
On your neck
And you don't have to pretend
You were ever happy
Ever going to fit in
Ever really felt
Ok with who you were
all.
That's reality.
