How To Praise a School Child

Don’t a school child give marks It would be bold to despise: The same thing as letting sharks Acquire their teeth thrice! You’re praise of kids to elicit sparks That should ignite just the spice: Where the child’s bicycle parks Restricting others with a thrown dice When the child begins to sing like larks And you serving it streaming rice. The Good Dog sure barks After every reckless price … So does many a docile child By beginning to act wild.
