How To Lure a Mouse

I hear a mouse under the sink. I'd poison him, but then he'd stink. A cold snap's here, so he must think That I won't mind him there. I hear him knawing now and then. He's quite determined to get in. I need a way of stopping him For he may be a pair! I hear the quickest way's a trap --a guillotine--one mighty: SNAP! Then, throw him out. That is That! Too gross...I need some air. What kind of lure is good for bait? Let's see there's Choc'late, Cheese--NO! WAIT! I took too long...God sent a Snake!! Looks like I'm outta here! deborah burch© 3/16/2012

VERY creative and a unique entry for her contest. I hope it does well. I wrote a sonnet about a smelly dead rat once! Yours here is kind of like that one of mine from long ago!

Nice Work, but I'd rather have the mouse than the snake-scared to death of them! I know- I'm a gutless wonder.

Bahahaha!! Too funny ;) As long as it's a black snake it's ok...they eat mice...but I understand...my late husband was the same way...said "the only good snake, is a dead snake..." ;) So you're not alone...Thanx so much for your kind encouragement...it really helps ....BIG huggsss~Deb~
