How To Capture Your Heart
I've never had an issue with asking out girls
But with you I just don't know where to start
I want to make you forget your past pain and give you a new world
I just wish I knew how to capture your heart
You came into my life and I was instantly in awe of how amazing you are
I know there are a lot of guys with hopes of getting you into bed
I have hopes of making you smile and erasing your scars
I know you're running from love, but here I am chasing your heart
I fell by mistake but I'm unsure if I want to be picked up
I want to shoot my own shot because Cupid's missed enough
I'm scared because I've never felt like this
Maybe I shouldn't write this, like blowing candles out on a cake don't tell your wish
Tell me your secrets, reveal your scars
Let me hold you close, allow me to heal your heart
Let's fall asleep in the sun and wake up in the rain
Give me your heart and hopefully one day I can give you my last name
I've never had an issue with telling a girl how I feel
But when it comes to you I don't know where to start
You've been hurt so much, so you probably won't think it's real
I wish I knew how to capture your heart
