How the Pie Stole Christmas

Sitting next to the fireplace with hot coco in my hands
A comfy ugly sweater on with a blanket wrapped over my legs
Watching a beautiful movie with family and friends around
The Christmas tree full of bright lights and delicious candy canes
Snowflakes decorate the windows as the snow falls outside
All is perfect is my house filled with nothing but love
Food and pie getting prepared on the table for us to eat
When it's ready we all jump up for joy and rush to our seats
Eat and eat and eat some more then grab a slice of mom's pie
Our mouth's water and the smell get every one's attention
We take a bite and then inhale the whole pie until we get full
The pie makes every one be in a mom's pie coma
Which knocks us out before we can even open our gifts
The pie stole Christmas another year around
