How Quickly They Grow

She always said, "a ballerina I will be, just watch me mom, one day you will see." "I will be so graceful, as I leap so high, and whirl, and twirl, like a bird in flight." "Maybe daddy, will take the time, to watch me dance, wouldn't that be just divine." I gave her a hug, and told her that would be great, then her daddy would see, the beautiful girl, we had made. Then off she went, walking on her toes, as I sat there thinking, how quickly they grow.

My baby girl is 26. This sure makes me want to cry my eyes out. Such is life, so fleeting. Precious are the memories of their youth. Love, Shar
