How Many Times Have You Wondered

How many times have you wondered Why the poor are so many, the rich are so few? Why children laugh at inconsequential things? While older folks are forever forgetting What it is they're trying to do? How many times have you wondered Why you don't make more money for the work you do? Why we fret at being confined for a week -- Are animals really happy living in a zoo? How many times have you wondered Why it is slower going and faster returning home? Why there's little to do when what's finished is done. How in the world do honeybees make a comb? How many times have you wondered Why today's youngsters play their music so loud? Why the only parking spot available is always too short? And, why is it just simpler to follow the crowd? written August 5, 2021

Yeah, I suppose we all have. It was just some thoughts that I had in mind and put them together in this verse. Thanks for the read.

Many questions to ponder here, Milt. My favorite is -- Why is it slower going to the anticipated place than it is on the return trip home. Seems it's always that way. A profound truth here. Thanks, gw

Glad you found something that caught your interest, gw. I was awaiting the results of tests in the hospital and wondering why it takes sooooo long! Good to be back home. My thanks to you for your thoughts.
