I painted this for freedom
So this is what it means to not die,
How it feels when I survive,
To be eternal with the universe,
Be the one to be alive,
And be in the moment with every second,
Grabbing every colour,
And dance and sing and paint and smile,
Rolling with a lover,
And hang off the side of the double deck bus,
On its way to release,
Every passenger of all the hurt and pain,
Emptying all of its seats,
To not die, to be alive,
To live life in the happy and free,
This is how it feels at last,
To finally be the real me.
