How I'D Like To Die
In the arms of my beloved,
After writing my best poem,
After performing my greatest gig,
After reconciling with relatives,
Currently on my "out" list,
After visiting my parents gravesites,
After visiting my old homesight,
After achieving peace with myself,
No matter how long it takes,
After visiting my Dad's and mine's
Favorite wateringhole,
After visiting all my close relatives'
one last time,
After helping one last needy person,
Anonymously,
After my last church visit,
After my last prayer.
After finding peace.
