How Heavy Is My Heart

How heavy is my heart? So heavy that I cannot stand, I rather lay Lay in a puddle of my own tears My own fears Away from my peers My vision unclear Chest beating, my heart it pounding Trying to, but I cannot understand what my feeling are pronouncing Back and forth I go, trying not to let my emotions grow but sometimes, many times ...they get the best of me and I get emotional Dysfunctional I become searching to overcome this heart ache That smothers me viciously while I continue to lay ....that's how heavy my heart is

welcome to poetry soup a very well written poem it speaks volumes to those in similar situations, i have a son who was bullied at school and even though i got it stopped he still some how is more or less a recluse, and just to scared to go out doors, so a heavy heart is hard to have
