How Far

As I sit here at the bar
I have to wonder just how far
How far I'd have to go
To find a friend, not a foe

I'm so over this incomplete life
I just want to be a wife
Of someone who holds me close
Who would offer me a rose

Who can wipe away my tears
Who will love me for many years
Find me someone who wants to
Help me start a life brand new

If you are someone who cares
Let me trust, don't act on dares
I only want someone to love
A love approved by God above

I love lots of people, the problem is getting them to love me back. Sad write of loneliness and want, Jolene. Your man will come. Choose wisely!
