How Far?

I use my GPS to find my way to you
Please let this love be true

Left, right or keep straight
GPS tells me which roads to take

Each mile gone brings me closer to you
I watch as the sun changes its hue

My heart fills with anticipation
"Take the exit right, go straight on. You have reached your destination."

747 miles, 12 hours alone in my car
It was love that brought me this far.

A very nice poem, Monica. It's always interesting to see technology used in verse.
