How Do You Feel
How do you feel…
... knowing that God sees you groaning in pain
whenever you languish in gloom, and in misery remain
earnestly hoping for His miracle to gain???
Well, you can triumph in Him around His love’s domain!
How do you feel…
… believing that God hears you crying for divine support
whenever you excruciate in downfall’s hurts along shame’s discomfort
sorrowfully begging for His help, your ultimate resort???
Oh, you can praise Him for leading you before His gracious fort!
How do you feel…
… learning that God knows you pleading for urgent care
whenever you beseech for His assured welfare due to discontentment’s scare
desperately longing for His promises in your despair???
Sure, you can thank Him for bringing you to His throne of blessings' share!
How do you feel…
… realizing that God understands you sighing anxiously
whenever you express complaints; murmuring about unfairness grudgingly
unreasonably asking for His answers to your questions bitterly???
Yes, you can worship Him for counsels against folly!
How do you feel…
… acknowledging that God meets you midst grievous frustration
whenever you succumb to sins’ oppression
sincerely craving for His pardon’s restoration???
Smile, you can adore Him for granting pardon toward transformation!
How do you feel…
… considering that God regards you cringing in difficulty
whenever you mourn over calamity and physical infirmity
wholeheartedly yearning for His cheerful certainty???
Breathe, you can honor Him by His upholding stability!
How do you feel…
… trusting that God deals well with you despite your weakness
whenever you struggle to move on after failures and fruitlessness
grievously demanding for His response to earnest neediness...
Now, you can esteem Him through His loving faithfulness*!
*Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
