For the Officer slain this past week a mourning.

How dark and dank that another Police person's life was snuffed out. How ungrateful that we humans should suffer a loss. That one person should take another's life without dignity. I believe that this person's life must have counted for something great. Yet it was snuffed out, just like that. And the other was taken just as well. My Lord, we don't understand the meaning. To leave behind three children and a parent to suffer your loss. Is unbearable. And yet it has happened. My prayer is that an understanding shall come. That this will not continue to be. That those who protect shall also be protected. And that if the ultimate sacrifice shall and must be made, that it is not in vain. For the greatest among these is to sacrifice one's own for the grace of another.
