How Can One Recant a Kiss

How can one recant a kiss,
Or disignite a spark?
One might as well unhook the stars
And stumble in the dark.

T would be ill-favored to withdraw
So grand a thing as this,
Let passion play without regard
And forever hold, the kiss.

My pleasure. You know more about poetic device than I do. I've taught poetry for years, but I don't know what a Poulter's Measure is ;) But if I've got it, cool! Have a Happy easter, and drop by soon. Peace. Mel :)
