The need to escape...to reveal
the once hidden...
From girl to woman...
I stand and applaud the inner
child...
Abbreviate her journey...
transition with a tenacious smile...
She has created this world...
and received an insight to suffer
no more...
like an everlasting fragrance of a once
adorned yet tortured rose...
she stands ever vigilant...
breathes this fragrance without
recourse...
her soft beauty mere typifies
the struggle others imposed...
I stand and applaud the inner child
for she chose to feel and grow...
