Hotel Room

Pristine white Blank canvas If walls could talk Mute lifeless frames Boxed decor Where random players take turns Unfolding their drama Living their realities Their joys their tragedies Occupy their time Without leaving a trace There then gone Back to a blank canvas For the next set of players One sequence then another And another then another AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Posted on January 25, 2019

I like what you've done with the subject, and I see that you've become quite expert with this style. It opens up a world of potential for the writer-- not to mention the reader -- and I should really try it myself soon. Very well done! Best wishes, Gershon

So true, Line. I never thought about the "history" of a hotel room before but thank goodness, the walls CAN'T talk. lol

I totally agree. So many stories we don't want to hear... others we don't need to share. LOL

I cannot help but think hospital when I read this, or clinic or dentist office. Pertains to all three I believe. I just read the title and laughed. Yes, hotel rooms also. Chuckle.

I sometimes read the title last also. It's often the cherry on the sundae.
