Notes About The Poem

Hot Phenomenan

hot phenomenon

           ancient lava rings
     hexagonal shapes appear
         molten rock anneals

         where titans battled
     geometric footprints pave
         the giants causeway

As the bird flies you probably live nearer to Nth Antrim than I do, yeah it’s well worth the visit, but always better on a sunny day, cheers David

The images you had accompanying your Haiku were so unique.

Hot rocks indeed Lin, imagine they start out as lava circles, and as they cook crack into hexagonal shapes, weird nature, cheers David

It’s a great spot Tom, and with the new Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge the views are even more spectacular, cheers David
