Hot Dogs and Potato Salad

Midsummer daydream Taste the flow All nature come together in one fine day Sounds Scents The feel of cool grass on my back The sky like a forever looking glass Lifts me with its mystery Sense of floating in blue powdered air Up there Somewhere Where walls boundaries fall away All that keeps that which is me grounded is the taste of Hot dogs and potato salad – (must be the onion) Staying with me Spoiling my reverie

Got a chuckle out of this one. Hot dogs and potato salad--got to have them for summer--hopefully a little less onion and you'll be set. In answer to your question--no, I'm not a teacher at least in the strict sense. I'm and a mom and a nurse--does that count. Keep on writing!! Thank you for your kind comment. Karen

You have me laughing again, Daver. Don't eat potato salads but hot dogs sometimes cause indigestion. Darn it -- they taste sooo good! Hope you can restore your "reverie," dear friend. Love, Carolyn (and thanks again for the birthday wishes -- they really meant a lot to me)

Bad that a little food could ruin such a lovely place and dream as you have described it...Keep the creative and descriptive pen flowing..Sara
