Horns Or Halos?

horns or halos? only God knows...see with Gods eyes or you just won't know anyway the wild wind blows from the east to the west from the north to the south...unclean spirits spewing out of mad mouths...world turns into a giant trash route garbage called gold...selling their souls for the silver and the gold...hearts turn cold like an iceburg tower...million fingers on their triggers all try to claim the power...gettin devoured like flies stuck in the spiders webs...till death do us part as the black widows wed rings of rage get rusted to the bone who wears the horns and who wears the halos? only God knows spreading black wings from silver streams...babies in their baskets...they whisper in their dreams plans of life and plots of death...some grow to be heros some grow to be hexed some too young to be savagely sexed growing up with a vengeance of rage and revenge synged and scarred in the slow soul burn who wears the horns and who wears the halos? only God knows

Oie yoie, cela fait du mal a mon coeur d'animal. Wonderfully composed, Anthony! Definitely a mind spritzer. Great imagery to convey these thoughts! "Horns or Halos"...not always so simple keeping the halo upright, while chased by hounds? Totally swept away but the imagery. As always, an outstanding write...thank you for sharing!! Best wishes to you and yours, Mikki

Hi Anthony: Another great poem. Yes, it is true...only God truly knows who wears the horns or the halos. Yet Christians should strive to live a good Christian life (despite messing up at times). I like the line "selling their souls for the silver and gold". Peace: Sheol
