Horizon Has Parted -
thundrous drums pierce
the misted murk of ocean's ceiling
my roof shudders -
veins flush
danger lurks
trembling aboveness
expands
flashes fierce -
..
might this day be doomed?
death sentence
writ in iron
drip
dripping colour
into
a strange
diluted
drift
cutting
its equine teeth
as they race
the lunar wherewithal
..
what eyes that are,
close
yet.. wait..
sweet now near comes
light strikes the dark
a saline womb's elasticity..
within the shell of me
pearl lies
glist
glistening
to the music of waves..
symphonic flash of flittering fins
verdant bed bears me down..
curves green
to pale creation..
moans from where a scene squirms
actions left.. right..
body rises
falls.. twists..
rises..
gasps.. gasps
again..
a push.. moan..
light..
closing of eyes
weeping wet
corners crinkled with
silent laughter
and fear, always
fear
..
am neither beast nor woman
neither gem nor flaw, but
patient as purity..
in the calm of yet to come
my breath is held
til above me
more light
more movement
less noise..
horizon has parted its lips
to life.. true life -
to exhale dreams come true..
..
thundrous drums pierce
the misted murk of ocean's ceiling
my roof shudders -
veins flush
danger lurks
trembling aboveness
expands
flashes fierce .. ..
