Hopelessly Hopeful

I am hopelessly hopeful of man at last prevailing over animosity and fear: mankind finally embracing, brother to brother, kin to kin, no sense of creed or nation; people living under one flag all aboard the flagship Earth sailing as God's own children; Arabs at peace with the Jews, Christians playing with Hindus, different beliefs yet undivided; the fox sleeping with the lamb, turning guns into plowshares, harvesting the fruit of the land; weapons eternally silenced not to be heard ever again, forgotten like a bad dream. Hopefully, foolishly hopeful, I am betting it all on believing and helping to make it happen.
