Hopeless

All my hopes a fabricated hoax,
A delicate punch on heart,
That it crackeled and shattered,
Like leaves in frozen December.

The butterflies that would bring,
Your kisses of spring,
Like pages of our untold story,
You vanished.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Very descriptive lines you have penned in this one. Sad one about love loss, but if the person left, they are not the right person for you anyway. Thanks for sharing. Sara
