Hopeful....
The day ends, this time has come
love and passion, shared one intimate night
hopefully making a miracle
She dreamed this time was right, this time would be tonight
the sensuous sensation flowing from his body to hers,
as they made love once again
she graced herself with happiness and fear
fear of not knowing what might have happened
As the days went by, she counted them one by one
hoping time would fly, hoping this time would be right
and this would happen
she never felt so sure of anything, she knew it had to happen
she lied to herself, to make believe it was already happening
she knew it couldn't fail, not so many times
So she waits, wondering, hoping and praying
looking for her miracle
When suddenly something happened, something took place
at that very moment, she felt pain, hard pain
she knew nothing would ever be the same
She couldn't believe it
but it was true
she wasn't with child
as her monthly punched through........
