Hope On Eagles Wings

Proud and majestic she hovers over the land
riding the air currents with her mighty wingspan
elegantly she glides through the azure sky
looking down at the land she loves with her keen eagle eyes

Loving her freedom she holds onto with all her might
she can't help but sense lately in the land there's a blight
flying high as a kite she can see for miles
noticing tired human beings with very few smiles

Frustrated she fly's lower wishing she could help
as the tired humans on the ground hearts just melt
looking up they smile giving them hope and making her day
as she swoops one more time and then fly's away
