Hope In Kindness
In shadows cast by doubt and fear,
I wandered through a world unclear.
A heavy heart, burdened and blue,
But in the darkness, a light shone through.
Kind words like stars in the night,
Guiding me towards a renewed light.
Though few in number, their warmth embraced,
A balm for wounds, a gentle grace.
For those who once made me despair,
I've learned to let go, to mend and repair.
Their hurtful words, like fading rain,
Cannot extinguish the inner flame.
In the company of those who care,
I find solace, a love so rare.
They lift me up, help me see,
The beauty in the person I can be.
So in this journey, both wild and long,
I'll hold on to the love that's strong.
For even in the depths of despair,
Kindness and care will always repair.
