Hope In Friendship

Remembering a day in my life, Full of sadness and of strife. I never thought I'd make it through, Thinking to myself people think the worst of you. Even though it isn't always said, The nightmares follow me to bed. When I dream it haunts me still, It holds me down against my will. So many tears have drowned my past, Thank God the suffocating wouldn't last. One day I woke and saw the truth, the pain and suffering that stole my youth. Something special made me well, It broke that sad and awful spell. I knew at once it wouldn't end, The happiness I found in a True Friend.

Once you know how to be a friend, good friends come to you! (if you have a book in print to sell, let me know in a comment section of a poem of mine? I'm posting where to buy them in a blog. I'm trying to get us some sales for the Holidays)Light & Love!
