Hope For the Best

Losing love can be
  sad but true.
  It can happen to me.
  It can happen to you.
  That's why I say,
 "Seize the day,"
 for sweet memories will never fade away.
 Put them in your heart's treasure chest
 and keep hoping for the best.

this is a reasonable advice. that losing love is not the end of everything. that though love may be lost sweet memories may remain

Great words of advice my dear friend Carole. "Seize the Day", I've learned to do that.Took your Carpe Diem and added it to my last poem "No Regrets", isn't that wonderful we are on the same trend here. Great minds think alike as they say....Maria xxx

I like this sweet little poem and what Richard said about it resembling a boat. Let hope float your boat! I am looking for the poem you told me about but don't see it as a recent post. I'll try to search by your titles.

The poem looks like it’s shaped like a boat. It made me think Hope Floats. Each person deals with the loss of love differently. I think your positive approach is a healthy one.
