Hope For a Lost Soul

If you cannot rise to the challenge of love Then spare us the hatred and bitterness Plumb the depths of your soul in silence and in solitude That you may penetrate the mysteries of your inability to love Resolve your inner conflict and rejoin us when you are able Only then will you do no harm Only then will you truly belong Only then will you see that Life is for lovers When your actions are not borne of love You cannot but hate yourself For the waste of life In dreadful realisation of what might have been
