Hope

Amid dark despair And the deepest fear Hope is always there A voice we can hear With the inner ear Heed its message It will assuage The despair stage And give courage Take action And move on With caution To cope Don't mope HOPE!
I chose to rhyme my diminished hexaverse

Congratulations, John, I like the rhyming, it adds difficulty to the writing of it but makes it seem more like poetry.

It's always good to have hope in the darkest of times. Hope is what keep some folks going through the day or with their lives.

Thanks, Ty. This reminds me of the song "Whispering Hope"(1868) - /Soft as the voice of an angel/ Breathing a lesson unheard/ Hope with a gentle persuasion/Whispers her comforting word/ Wait till the darkness is over/ Wait till the tempest is done/ Hope for the sunshine tomorrow/ After the shower is gone/
